A Brief History

Troop 46 is one of Germany’s oldest Scouts BSA troops and was the first BSA troop established behind the Iron Curtain during the Cold War. Active in Berlin since at least 1952, the troop has long been a part of the American community in the city while remaining open and welcoming to families from many backgrounds. Over the decades, it has guided generations of young people in making ethical and moral choices throughout their lives
