Encountering Christ in the Sacraments

The Sacraments are the heart of our faith, visible signs of God’s grace that accompany us through every stage of life. From Baptism and Holy Communion to Confirmation, Confession, Marriage, the Anointing of the Sick, and the prayers that accompany our loved ones at funerals. Each sacrament is a sacred encounter with Christ. We invite you to explore how you may enjoy each of these beautiful moments of faith below—or contact us through the form to learn more or prepare to receive the Holy Spirit through a precious Sacrament.

Receive the Holy Sacraments

Baptism

Baptism is a joyful celebration marking the beginning of a new life in Christ and entry into the Christian community. It is a time of great happiness for families as they bring their child to be welcomed into the Church. Adults may also receive the Sacrament of Baptism after a period of preparation through Catechism classes which, for adults, are usually combined with First Communion and Confirmation. At All Saints we don't usually conduct adult Catechism directly but we would happy to help you find a nearby parish where you can receive instruction and prepare to enter the Catholic church. To arrange a baptism for your child or an adult or to learn more, contact us using the link below.

Holy Communion / Communion classes

Holy Communion is at the heart of our Sunday worship, when we come together as a Community to receive the Body and Blood of Christ and be strengthened in Faith and resolve. Communion is available at each Sunday Mass. Additionally, we hold regular preparation courses for both children and adults to prepare them to receive the sacrament for the first time as they grow in understanding and appreciation of the sacrifice of the Eucharist. To learn more or enquire about the next available  course, contact us using the link below.

Confirmation classes

Confirmation deepens the grace received at Baptism and marks a mature commitment to the life of faith through the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It is a wonderful step forward of growth and renewal within the Church. We regularly schedule Confirmation classes according to demand. Contact us using the form below to find out about the next available course.

Confession

The Sacrament of Confession, also known as Reconciliation, offers a beautiful opportunity to avail yourself of God’s mercy and begin anew. Through this Sacrament, we receive forgiveness, healing, and grow closer to Christ. At All Saints Church we hold regular scheduled Confession times throughout the yea; check the News section of the website or sign up for our Bulletin for current Confession dates and times.

Matrimony

It's hard to think of a more joyous celebration of love, faith, and lifelong commitment than Marriage. At All Saints we love a wedding as much as anyone and rejoice as two people are united before God, the Church and their friends and families. It is a sacrament that both mirrors Christ’s love for His people and blesses a couple’s journey together in life. We will be delighted to help you prepare for your special, perfect day. To begin arranging your wedding by speaking to a Priest or to learn more about marriage preparation, contact us using the form below.

Anointing of the sick

The Anointing of the Sick brings comfort, strength, and peace to those facing illness, frailty, or the trials of aging. Through prayer and the anointing with holy oil, this sacrament unites the suffering of the sick with the compassion of Christ and offers grace for healing and hope. We invite anyone in need of this sacrament, whether at home, in hospital, or in care to reach out so that a Priest can visit the person in need. Please contact us using the form below to arrange a visit or to obtain more information.

Funerals and Mass Cards

Funerals are moments of both sorrow and hope, as we commend our loved ones to God’s loving care and place our trust in the promise of eternal life. Though it is a time of sadness, we find comfort and confidence in the Lord, who has conquered death and brings peace to those who mourn. All Saints Church is here to support your family in planning a Vigil, Requiem Mass and burial.

Mass Cards are available for those who wish to have a Mass said in memory of a loved one. Similarly, Memorial services can also be arranged to honour and remember your departed loved ones at a later date.
